Seth’s Family
Genesis 5:1-32
1 This is the scroll of the generations of ADAM. In the day that ELOHIM created ADAM, in the likeness of ELOHIM He made him. 2 Male and female He created them; and He blessed them and called their name “ADAM” in the day they were created.
3 And ADAM lived 130 years and fathered a son in his likeness, according to his image, and called his name Seth. 4 The days of ADAM after he fathered Seth, 800 years. And he fathered sons and daughters. 5 And all the days that ADAM lived were 930 years, and he died.
6 And Seth lived 105 years; and fathered Enosh. 7 And Seth lived after he fathered Enosh, 807 years; and he fathered sons and daughters. 8 All the days of Seth were 912 years. And he died.
9 And Enosh lived 90 years and fathered Cainan. 10 And Enosh lived after he fathered Cainan, 815 years; and he fathered sons and daughters. 11 And all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.
12 And Cainan lived 70 years and fathered Mahalalel. 13 And Cainan after he fathered Mahalalel, 840 years, and he fathered sons and daughters. 14 And all the days of Cainan were 910 years, and he died.
15 And Mahalalel lived 65 years and he fathered Yared. 16 And Mahalalel lived after he fathered Yared 830 years; and he fathered sons and daughters. 17 And all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years; and he died.
18 And Yared lived 162 years and fathered Enoch. 19 And Yared lived after he fathered Enoch, 800 years; and he fathered sons and daughters. 20 And all the days of Yared were 962 years; and he died.
21 And Enoch lived 65 years and fathered Methuselah. 22 And Enoch made himself walk with ELOHIM for 300 more years after he fathered Methuselah; and he fathered sons and daughters. 23 All of the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24And Enoch made himself walk with ELOHIM; and then he was not – for ELOHIM took him.
25 And Methuselah lived 187 years and he fathered Lamech. 26 And Methuselah lived
782 years, and he fathered sons and daughters. 27 And all the days of Methuselah were 969 years; and he died.
28 And Lamech lived 182 years, and he fathered a son. 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one shall comfort us from our work and the toil of our hands from the ground which Yahweh has cursed.” 30 And Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years, and he fathered sons and daughters. 31 All the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
32 And Noah was a man of 500 years. And Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Yapheth.
